Wild at Heart - Children's Christmas Retreat

Join us for a magical festive day in nature, mindfully exploring the wild and beautiful land at Sunart Fields in Whaley Bridge!

Children will learn about the inspiring Rewilding project that Rachel and Geoff the land owners are working on. Also, the importance of protecting the natural world and how spending time in nature can help us to feel great and inspire us too.

We will be heading out on mindful walks, noticing nature and connecting with the land...including the Fairy Woods, interesting animals and beautiful views to far away places! We will also be doing a festive creative activity and fun and nature inspired yoga & mindfulness sessions as well as sharing a picnic together at lunchtime in the cosy barn.

All activities will be outdoors, but we have the option of being indoors in the barn if the weather isn't great!

The focus during the sessions will be on noticing nature, connecting with each other and with our own hearts and feelings, with plenty of opportunities for mindful moments and reflections.

Children will be led by Jess, Children's Creative Mindfulness Practitioner and previous Secondary School Art Teacher.
